The Children's Classes: What you can expect, and why it works so well...

Our children's program emphasizes discipline, respect and personal honor. Unlike most martial arts styles, we do not make our classes militant. We feel that kids should be allowed to be kids, but still follow set rules and guidelines. They not only learn how to defend themselves, but they learn to take personal responsibility for their art.

Our classes are fun and interesting which holds their attention.  All of our students are encouraged to bring us their report cards and they must maintain a "B" average in order to stay in our classes. We also stress that kids should be respectful toward their parents, teachers and community leaders. We teach "taking personal responsibility" for ones actions and we encourage choosing friends wisely. This is done in a subtle and yet effective way which also discourages, tobacco, alcohol and drug use. The end result is a more confident, self reliant and respectful child. Because of our program, most of our students excel academically and are recognized by their teachers as being exceptional students.

By setting belt testing goals and ensuring that students meet those goals, we build a history of success which promotes self-confidence and reliance. Our classes teach kids how to tumble, roll, punch, kick and use traditional Chinese weapons such as the Bo and Escrima Sticks. Martial Arts is less about learning how to fight others, but is more about learning to fight your own fears and limitations. Enroll you child and watch him transform into an unstoppable and self motivated person of great potential.
